Samsung Flagship Launch Campaigns
Overview
Samsung's flagship launches are some of the most important moments in the marketing calendar, requiring hundreds of assets to be delivered simultaneously across multiple channels, markets and formats. I played a lead role in the creative delivery of these campaigns, coordinating internal teams, external partners and stakeholders to ensure a consistent and high-quality launch experience.
My Role
As a Senior Digital Designer, I took on a creative leadership role throughout the launch process.
Responsibilities included:
Leading and directing creative output from the internal studio
Acting as a key link between stakeholders, creatives and production teams
Briefing and collaborating with external animation agencies
Storyboarding animation sequences and launch content
Reviewing and approving creative work before delivery
Working alongside editors and motion designers to refine final outputs
Ensuring brand consistency and quality across all assets
Supporting delivery against challenging launch timelines
Challenge
Flagship launches operate against immovable deadlines with multiple creative workstreams running in parallel. Assets needed to be produced at scale while maintaining brand consistency, accuracy and creative excellence across every touchpoint.
Key challenges included:
Delivering over 1,000 campaign assets within tight launch windows
Managing multiple stakeholders and approval rounds
Coordinating internal designers alongside external animation partners
Maintaining consistency across digital, motion and retail outputs
Responding quickly to changing priorities and product updates
Approach
Working closely with UX teams and developers, I helped shape a cleaner and more user-focused experience designed to guide customers through key decision-making moments.
This included:
refining UI layouts and hierarchy
simplifying information presentation
improving responsive behaviours across devices
supporting user journey flows
balancing usability with Samsung’s premium visual standards
contributing to concept development and creative execution throughout the project lifecycle
Collaboration
Successful delivery relied on strong collaboration between multiple teams.
Working closely with account teams, project managers, creatives, editors and external production partners, I helped establish clear workflows and feedback loops that kept projects moving efficiently while maintaining creative standards.
The role required balancing stakeholder expectations with production realities, ensuring work could be delivered on time without compromising quality.
